Professor Elemental

Professor Elemental is an internationally recognised steampunk entertainer, hip-hop artist and self-proclaimed adventurer from Brighton, England. Blending eccentric British humour, storytelling and rap, he has become one of the best-known performers in the musical genre known as chap hop.

He first attracted widespread attention with “Cup of Brown Joy”, followed by the enormously popular “Fighting Trousers.” Since then, Professor Elemental has performed around the world, released an extensive catalogue of albums and music videos, appeared in comics, written books and taken part in creative collaborations throughout the international steampunk community.

Beyond the stage, he has conducted children’s rap workshops and supported anti-bullying initiatives, using humour, imagination and music to encourage confidence and individuality. With his trademark pith helmet, goggles and irrepressible enthusiasm, Professor Elemental brings a distinctive combination of creativity, warmth and wonderfully British absurdity to the judging panel.
