G. D. Falksen

G. D. Falksen is an American author whose work spans steampunk, historical fiction, fantasy, horror and adventure. He is the author of numerous novels and stories, including The Secret Life of Kitty Granger, the Maiden of War series, The Transatlantic Conspiracy, Doctor Cthulittle and the acclaimed Ouroboros Cycle, which is being developed for television.

Recognised as a prominent voice within the international steampunk community, Falksen has written and spoken extensively about the genre, its history and its continuing evolution. His stories are known for combining imaginative worlds, strong characters, historical inspiration and carefully developed detail.

Beyond his work as an author, Falksen serves as Chairman of the Advisory Board of Writers and Artists Across the Country, a nonprofit organisation dedicated to bringing authors and artists into underserved schools. His experience as a storyteller, creative advocate and long-standing member of the steampunk community brings a thoughtful and highly informed perspective to the judging panel.
